By the time you read this, I'll be gone. Hopefully, I should have arrived in at the IDAL Convention in Memphis, met up with old friends, had at least one chocolate martini and delivered my speech. Here is the 'speech outfit' that I intend to wear.
Yep, classy ain't it?
Chips made the stencil and we painted the skirt with it last weekend. If my speech is dull, at least my clothes won't be. Now for a week of teaching, learning, shopping and partying.

Have a ball Helen...I know you will. I am really feeling very jealous and not a little sad not to be there, the Sistershands (wwww.sistershands.com)will have a great representation Krista Vind, Cindy Everett, Susan Bickford, Renee Holder will all be there so look out for them ......maybe next year

awwee...i love it...Made me an Elvis tshirt about a week ago...but oh girl that is beautiful....so wished I was going to be able to go to IDAL..had to change plans at the last minute.

It was lovely to meet so many people at the IDAL convention. I have received many funny pictures of the skirt in action. I could have just sent the skirt and stayed at home... but then I'd have missed the fun. Next year Portland, Oregon I hope all that want to can get there. I've been wanting to visit Portland for a while. Some great blogs come out of there.
