Since getting the June issue of Living etc I have been obsessed with that De Gournay wallpaper.
I have scoured wallpaper internet sites and been to loads of shops in search of something that could pass as similar. I am over the moon to come across you and am really excited about giving stencilling ago. Could I really create that look?? Please say yes!

Yes you can Hetty. Any of the panels in the Chinoiserie Range should be a good starting point. Take a look at the 'How to stencil' section in our side bar or 'hints' on our web site. Either of them will give you the basics of how to stencil successfully. You need very little paint, some spray repostioning adhesive, paper towel and a decent stencil brush for each colour that you want to use. Remember the beauty of stencils is that you get to choose the colours exactly as you want them.....AND because stencils are reusable you could use the same stencils in different colours in different rooms. That should satisfy your new obsession! I have used these stencils a lot so if you have questions I will be happy to help you.
