Hi Theresa, It tasted good too.
It's very effective to do this with chocolate desserts such as truffle and cheese cake. Anything that is firm and relativly smooth , if there is no tack to the cakes surface then I stencil with a thin coat of apricot jam (jelly) then apply the edible gold powder.


this is such a great idea, to use your skills on a cake, i would never have thought of it!
