Helen is in Reno for the annual stencilling convention and I have been left in charge. Mmmm, what can I get up to? For starters, I will post this photo of the lovely Clara Bow posing with her stencilled surfboard. Yes, a stencilled surfboard. Why not? My first edict, "Stencil anything!" I would even stencil my own surfboard, if I had one. Surfing in the north of England you wonder? In fact, surfing is very popular along the Northumbrian coast. Apparently it is a bit of a secret hot spot with surfers because it is quiet up here in terms of population and visitors, but we have a very volatile and challenging coastline. But I digress. Yes, you can stencil anything you can paint onto so most things are possible. I hope to come up with some ideas, inspiration and good deals for readers over the next couple of weeks. I shall let the power go straight to my head. Feel free to tag along.

Ha...but I'll be checking in. Convention starts tomoorow with classes. Expo opens on Thursday then to the public on Friday and Saturday. Friends are staring to arrive. I'm in bed with a lousy cold that I caught on the plane!
I look forward to being entertained and informed
