This is a simple way of delineating surfaces into separate areas
Position three lengths of masking tape side by side. Make sure that there are no gaps or overlaps then remove the centre tape and stencil between the outer two pieces.
Rub away excess paint onto paper towel before painting or stencilling between the tape.
Peel away tape.
The result should be clean crisp edged stripes. Tape can be bought in many widths, use a low tack masking tape on freshly painted surfaces.
These stripes are handy for stencilling over or just to add drama to decorative projects. I have added on of our stencils of horses between the stripes...but that's a future 30 Minute Makeover.
